WHAT YOU'LL LEAVE WITH

lifelong student. teacher.

Yoga is a lifelong practice and a way of living. You’ll learn how to live and teach with clarity, confidence, and integrity, while remembering that you will always be a student first.

Teaching yoga does not only happen in a studio. It may look like guiding a community class, supporting your colleagues, sharing breathwork with your family, leading retreats, teaching online, or simply showing up in your work and relationships with more steadiness and purpose.

This next chapter is an invitation to commit to your own practice and share what you love with the world in a way that feels authentic to you.

Certified to teach

Teach anywhere in the world plus you'll have an extra bonus, CPR/First Aid.

Cultural literacy

You'll understand where this practice comes from and how to honor it without flattening it.

A signature flow you can teach from memory

One sequence, deeply embodied, ready to teach the moment you graduate.

A real business education

Legal setup, pricing, contracts, marketing, photo assets, the essential parts that make teaching sustainable.

Confidence with beginners

The hardest, most important room to hold, and often the most overlooked group. Teach your colleagues, family, and the ones who might need it.

JUST THE BEGINNING

a note on certification

The Namaste Academy by Cafe Namaste is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School, RYS 200. Graduates who successfully complete all program requirements will be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT 200. This is one of the few membership bodies in the US. Unlike India, the US does not have a Ministry or governing body over yoga education and curriculum.

To receive a certificate of completion, students must complete all required training hours, pass the online anatomy module, complete quizzes and assignments, participate in teaching labs and final practicum, complete both mentorship calls, and meet all attendance requirements. Full attendance is required. Missed sessions must be made up with the faculty member who led that session and may involve an additional fee. Some sessions may be live-streamed on a case by case basis.

Certification is not the end of study. It marks the beginning of a deeper responsibility to honor yoga as a living tradition with care, humility, and respect. This is just the beginning of a lifelong journey of the self.
